At Wall to Wall Design, our detail drawings and spec sheets are crafted to be truly builder-ready—clear, accurate, and easy to execute on-site. Contractors love working with us because our precision saves time, prevents miscommunication, and ensures everyone is on the same page from day one. Our Design Process
STEP 1: INITIAL CONSULTATION
The first meeting will be at your home where we discuss your needs, goals and any challenges.
STEP 2: CONCEPT DESIGN
We will provide you fully customized moodboards for your space. This includes inspirational images, furnishings, different materials and hardware.
STEP 3: CONCEPT MEETING
We meet together to review your moodboards; providing a clear vision moving forward.
STEP 4: CONCEPT DRAWINGS
Provide sketch drawings of cabinetry, built-ins, fireplaces or other custom designs.
STEP 5: PRODUCT SOURCING
This is the fun part! Together we meet at all of the trades and suppliers and source out all of the materials and hardware for your space.
STEP 6: DETAIL DRAWINGS
Provide detailed construction drawings for any custom cabinetry, built-ins, mouldings, fireplaces etc.
STEP 7: SPECIFICATION SHEET
We provide you and your contractor with a fully detailed specification sheet suitable for ordering all products.
STEP 8: DESIGN REVIEW
Once all the products are sourced outwe meet again and review all of the samples, materials, and go over the detailed drawings. We review the budget and make any changes as needed.
STEP 9: ON SITE VISITS
We will visit the site regularily throughout construction and act as a liason between you and your contractor; addressing any issues or concerns should they arise. We also will attend the electrical walk-thru to ensure all of your lights, switches and outlets provide both functionality and work with the design scheme.
STEP 10: FINAL DELIVERY
We do a final walk through with you and provide any helpful tips and advice.
